Currently, there are over 1300 titles to choose from with 30 or more titles added every month. To register or for more information, please stop by the library and talk to the librarian at the reference desk on the 2nd floor.

eAudiobooks are not compatible with iPODs or Mac computers and your home computer needs to have Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher and your MP3 player must meet certain requirements. For more information about the requirements, please call or stop by the library or review this PDF.

Library Fees
The American Fork Library Board and City Council have approved an increase in the non-resident card fees for non-residents using the American Fork Library. This change will take effect on Tuesday, September 5, 2006. The annual card fee will then be $70.00; the quarterly card fee will be $19.00 and the semi-annual card fee will be $36.00.

This change was made to bring the non-resident fee more line with the amount paid by American Fork residents to the Library through their property taxes. This will also be a step toward a cooperative borrowing system between the north Utah County libraries of Pleasant Grove, Lehi, Eagle Mountain and American Fork by making the non-resident fees at each library consistent.

Also, as of September 5, 2006, the overdue fine on media items such as DVDs, videos, books on tape, books on CD, music CDs, and children’s audio kits, will be $.50 per day up to a maximum of $3.00.

5-4-5 Donation Program
Would you be interested in helping develop the American Fork Library collection of books and materials through donations? Join the 5-4-5 program - - 5 books 4 5 collections.
Choose a title or titles from the 5-4-5 list that you wish to purchase and donate to the library collection. You may want to call the library to be sure the title has not already been donated or if more than one copy will be of value to the library. Purchase the item and bring it in to the library as a donation to the building of the collection. Items may be purchased online or from local bookstores.
Donors may donate items anonymously or the library will be glad to add a bookplate in a donor’s name to each donated item.
Your support of the library is always appreciated and this program will help us build five of the library’s collections with each purchase and donation.
Thank you for your support.

Historical Photographs
We encourage all citizens to stop by the American Fork Library at 64 South 100 East and take notice of the Historical photographs on display on the second floor. These photographs depicting early American Fork were donated by Joe and Charlotte Hartle. They formerly hung in the Hartle’s business on Main Street, called Lake City Loans. Take time to see these wonderful photos that are now part of the City’s historical collection.
